No: There is no medical imaging test 100% accurate so far. Furthermore, there is a very large spectrum of nuclear medicine procedures that can be performed. Some of them are more accurate, some less, according to the disease we are looking at. Some nuclear medicine procedures can be very sensitive in detecting one type of lesions but less specific in defining the lesions.

No..: Nothing is 100% accurate. There are always going to be some false positives and false negatives but education and experience helps physicians do their best job to minimize these errors. If you have doubts about a result you can always get a second opinion.
