Definitely stop ETOH: Alcohol can exacerbate this pain, so would stop that until this completely clears up, and may have to do with digestive issues, or possibly even being related to food sensitivity, reduced gastric acid secretion (indigestion), or something else. You need to have a full abdominal exam done to see where the problem is. Not enough in your history to know about BM, constipation, diarrhea, etc. needed.

Gallstones?: Hi. That could be gallstone pain. Do you feel it in your back? Talk with your doc. Maybe a right upper quadrant ultrasound to look for gallstones or biliary sludge would be diagnostic. X-rays may miss gallstones.
