Ultrasound Needed: At 8 weeks, an ultrasound can confirm a viable fetus and reassure you. If HCG titers are being drawn, I'm guessing an ultrasound wasn't helpful. Usually, a level of 10,000 is high enough to see a viable (normal) pregnancy. Your levels have plateaued so the concern would be that your pregnancy is not progressing normally. Follow up with your OB Doc and good luck.
