You can ask...: ...the physician who is treating you. Quetiapine (Seroquel) is a second-generation "atypical" antipsychotic that is approved for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It may be especially useful in bipolar depression. If the medication has been effective and then seems to lose effectiveness, either an increase in dose or a switch in medication may be reasonable. Talk to your MD.
