TMJ: It's possible that you have "Temporomandibular Joint syndrome", also known as "TMJ Syndrome". This is not scary, and most of the time it resolves on it's own, if you experience pain, tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen are okay to take. If or gets worse, you can see a doctor for prescription medication and sometimes they can do an injection. Grinding your teeth at night is a common cause. Best wishes!
