Painful lump: Any bleeding, or as in your case both swelling and pain, requires immediate investigation. May be from abscessed tooth, infected gums, blocked salivary duct, cyst, and so many other possibilities. Please see your Dentist immediately for examination, possible imaging, possible lab tests, to determine cause and then appropriate treatment. Can't fix this over the computer or with pills/potions.
