Possible gas: This is an area where gas entrapment can occur. Do you have associated bloating? If so applying heat and drinking warm water helps break down the gas and enables you to pass it. Taking simethicone 1/2 hour after meals prevents gas build-up. See a gastroenterologist if symptoms persist.

Another test: Perhaps you and your doctor should consider an upper esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD- where a GI specialist puts a special camera down your throat into your stomach and gets a look at the inside of your stomach and the first part of your small intestine). That *might* be able to identify something going on in there that could be causing your symptoms that a CT scan might have missed.

Keep looking: If your weight loss was unintentional, you need additional testing. An EGD scope procedure and colonoscopy may both be needed if you've not had them. Rarely, gallbladder pain might be felt on the left.
