A member asked:

I went to the doctors and took a pt and it came out positive , but why am i still bleeding ,i dont have cramps nor nothing what can it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It can be normal: Cecilia, about 1/4 of pregnancies have some bleeding, even those which end in birth. There are two more concerning possibilities. First, which I'm sure you are most worried about is a miscarriage. Second, and more dangerous is an ectopic or tubal pregnancy. These are dangerous but rarer. If you develop severe pain or the bleeding worsens, please see your OB.
