Probably hemorrhoids: Small amounts of bright red blood on toilet paper when you wipe is likely from hemorrhoidal bleeding at your age, especially if the blood occurred after a bowel movement that required a bit more straining. Without an exam, cannot be completely certain. Could also be a rectal fissure. If this persists, please see doctor.
