Absolutely: Only a dentist after doing a complete exam can give you the best opinion on how to treat the decay. If it is very large, you may need a crown. If it is small, a small filling may be all you need. See a dentist asap and they will be able to get you taken care of. Good luck.

Yes, but...: Don't wait for the cavity to get bigger and deeper. The sooner you get to a Dentist the more treatment choices will be available to you. This isn't a DIY project, you need the knowledge and the experience of a General Dentist to help you, so call right away. You'll be so glad you did.
