Not an anti anxiety: medication. Cyclobenzaprine is not an anti anxiety drug. It is structurally similar to the TCA (tricyclic antidepressant) and used as a muscle relaxant. Drowsiness and sleepiness are some of the common side effects. Cyclobenzaprine has some collateral anxiolytic properties. It's always best to take any medication under a doctors instructions.
