Lift up your heels: Heel,pain at 60 can arise from the Achilles' tendon insertion, plantar fasciitis with spur, more often than direct calcaneus bone irritation. X ray can give some insight, and a trained orthopedist, podiatrist, or PMR doctor can make a correct diagnosis. Make an appointment. Typically, a small heel lift will rest the tendon, but correct diagnosis is needed first.
