Better to exercise: Laying down all day is almost never a good idea for anybody. Blood clots, pneumonia, and muscle deconditioning, for example, can all result from relative immobility. I would recommend at least maintenance of your normal daily activity levels, and up to 30-60 minutes of daily exercise would be fine. Of course, see your OB if you have any problems or concerns.
