Depending on her age: your mother may or may not have trouble getting pregnant. Her chances are improved if her thyroid hormone levels are normal. If she does get pregnant, it's even more important that she gets adequate thyroid replacement treatment since low levels increase the chances of potentially serious complications. Hope this helps.
