PCKD: PCKD is not usual to cause to renal failire on young children. Assuming your child has PCKD I would seek and see a pediatric nephrologist. There is no FDA approved therapy to stop progression but certain medication is being studied. It is used in patients with a sodium disorder. At this time follow up with a kidney doctor is the best course of action.
