Ask an orthodontist : Broken retainers may require a repair rather than a total replacement. Ask your orthodontist if is it's possible to repair. If not, you should replace the broken one with a new retainer.

If Essix-replace!: If you have a clear plastic Invisalign type retainer, it can not be repaired. If it read made by Invisalign, just call the dentist or orthodontist and they can have Invisalign make a new one from your virtual records. If in Invisalign, than any dentist or orthodontist cal make a new one. If your retainer is processed acrylic, it maybe possible to repair. You'll need to ask a profession what to do

Broken Retainer: If you have had invisalign tx the treating dentist can contact invisalign and have a new retainer made . Many orthodontists have machines in office that can make these types of retainers very quickly. If it is this type of retainer they cannot be fixed. Don't wait too long though because the teeth will start to move, memory relapse.
