A member asked:

What happens if your cardiologist told you both of your carotid arteries were blocked?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Depends on the degree of blockage. In most cases it is just an indicator that a patient needs treatment for generalized atherosclerosis. In occasional cases it increases the risk for stroke and needs to be treated. See a vascular surgeon for a good opinion.
