Yes: If you are not able to move the foreskin back over the glans (head), it can cut off the circulation and kill off part of the penis. Try ice and lotion or soap to try to reduce the swelling and lubricate the skin to slide back over. However, if it does not reduce (slide back over), it needs to be treated in the er.

Para phimosis : This occurs when the foreskin of an uncircumcised male cannot be pulled back over the head of the penis. This can lead to swelling and pain. There is a ring in the foreskin called phimotic ring that can act as a fibrotic ring and may not stretch. Once behind the head of the penis, it can choke on it (ie like chocking the chicken). You need to see an md, preferably a urologist.

Foreskin: You have to return the foreskin to its normal position or you may develop what is called paraphimosis. If that happens you need to see a urologist before the foreskin swells and becomes an emergency.

Here are some...: Clinically and most likely, you are experiencing a condition called paraphimosis, which could be manually reduced under usually experienced hands or released with dorsal slit under local anesthesia right at urgent care or ER.
