Ovulation: Irregular periods boil down to ovulation. If the length of menstrual periods is outside of 25- 32 days, likelihood is very high that there is no ovulation and therefore no conception.

Yes: There can be different causes of irregular periods, but if they are caused by irregular or diminished ovulation, this can affect how easily you conceive.
