Common: There is a network of lymph nodes in the head and neck region. When you have a cold or upper respiratory infection or strep, sometimes they become more prominent. They go back to normal in time. Just keep an eye on it. If it rapidly enlarges, becomes red, hot, tender, get it checked out.

On amoxil (amoxicillin) for strep. There is a visible bulge on my neck where lymph node is. Normal? Started amoxil (amoxicillin) 1000mg tid last pm. (3 doses so far)
