A member asked:

What do you suggest if my doctor in canada said my iron level was 6 and it should be in the 100s. problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Take oral iron: If the reading was 6 and the normal level is 100 or so, you are deficient in iron. You may take oral pills available over the counter. Take the pills with meals and if constipation is an issue use a fiber laxative. Of course it would be better if you consult your doctor in Colorado, for an evaluation
