A member asked:

Doc mentioned iron metabolism problem may cause 38 yo to grow taller in rare cases. can you kindly explain what that metabolism problem is & symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Have heard of no other causes of "height increase" in fully grown adults, except for inaccurate height measurements (meaning the number recorded is not the true height), and for astronauts living in low gravity environments. The only way to show that height actually increased, is to have extremely accurate measurements on multiple occasions over several years, with good patient posture every time.
