Drug interactions: Alcohol is a drug. In small amounts it has a sedative effect and can raise the level of HDL ( good cholesterol)....Larger doses and chronic use has toxic effect on liver , brain , increases accidents, etc. . At any dose it can irritate the gastric lining... Asacol has NSAID - gastric irritant -- iron causes constipation distends the gut--- with all three you're asking for trouble....
