What do you suggest if my child has a rash all over 8months old?

Find out what it is.: There are so many causes for different types of rashes, that without knowing what is causing the rash, it's hard to tell you how to treat it. If it's caused by something the child is sensitive to, avoid that thing. If it's a more diffuse allergy, try benadryl (diphenhydramine). If it's from an illness, have the illness treated properly. For instance, the rash with scarlet fever goes away once strep infection tx'd.
