A planned C-section: If someone has told you that you absolutely will need a C-section, it sounds like you will have a C-section. The doctors will do ultrasounds and determined when the baby is due, and will pick a date for the surgery. It's known as a planned C-section. If you go into labor before that date, go to the hospital sooner vs. later and a C-section will occur then.
