Please define "high": Hi. I would say "high" blood sugar DOES define diabetes! So are you arguing with diagnostic criteria? I'm missing something here...either that, or you are. Look at diagnostic criteria for diabetes. If your glucose is high, you're diabetic. If it's normal, you're NOT diabetic, and if it's in between, you're prediabetic. Check out criteria, or talk with your doc. Cheers!
