Doesn't matter: Hi. It doesn't matter if you're fasting or fed when you're given Reclast (zoledronic acid) (zoledronate administered IV). Vitamin D is better absorbed if taken with food.

Infusion: Since Reclast (zolendronic acid) is used intravenously, it doesn't matter if you eat or not beforehand. Please drink at least 2 glasses of water or other liquid before infusion.
