A member asked:

Can you tell me in the eye, is there anything that protects it from someone literally trying to tear them out?

Yes: Eyelids, connective tissue, extraocular muscles, optic nerve all hold the eye in the socket. The parts of the eye can be damaged by a force that tries to pull the eye from the socket. Are you afraid someone seeks to do this to you? Is this something you are considering? You may need to seek help from the police, a psychiatrist, or both.
