DKA: Hi. Is she still in the hospital? If nothing was complicated, she'll probably be discharged soon. Why did she go into DKA? Infection? Stopped taking her insulin? The doctor will give her a plan for discharge t home with follow up. Make sure she follows the instructions and keeps her follow up appointments. If she's non-compliant with diabetes management, try to motivate her to get on board!
