Do people with diabetic ketoacidosis have a lot of pain?

DKA: Patients with DKA do not have pain related to the DKA itself, however they may complain from non-specific abodminal pain, which often resolves as the DKA is corrected. Dka also leads to deep and rapid breathing; if this goes on for an extended period of time it may cause discomfort around the chest wall and upper abdomen for excessive use of muscle for this type of breathing.
