Leukocoria: We've all seen people with red eyes in photos (a normal light reflex off the retina, the back of the eye), but when one eye is white (leukocoria), while it may be nothing, it may be the sign of a serious eye problem, like a retinal detachment, or a tumor in the eye. Please keep in mind that these bad things are very rare, but in any case you should visit your eye doctor for a dilated eye exam now
