Support him.: Just because he is in a nursing does not mean that you cannot see him as often as you can. He will appreciate visits, he can still be taken home on visits to eat out or on holidays unless he is in the last stages when he is no longer able to walk, eat or recognize people or he gets agitated because e will not do well with changes. Nursing homes now are well-regulated ,checked by the state.
