Not effective: Strep throat is a bacterial infection that is cured with antibiotics. Untreated Strep infections can lead to diseases of the joints, heart, kidneys and nervous system. Belladonna is used by some homeopathic doctors for throat infections but is not a mainstream therapy for what could become a serious infection.
