A member asked:

Help docs, is hydrocodone 5/500 stronger than hydrocodone 5/325?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: It has a little more tylenol (acetaminophen), (acetaminophen) but the main ingredient, hydrocodone, is still 5 mg. The FDA has ruled that no opiate combination pill should contain more than 325 mg of tylenol (acetaminophen), (acetaminophen) because along with prescription opiate epidemic and addiction to opiates has come excessive amount of tylenol (acetaminophen) ingestion with many cases of liver damage and even death.
