A member asked:

Is a 24 month trial of tasigna (nilotinib) the best way to go about treating a cml diagnosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

YES: Tasigna (nilotinib) - was initially used as sencond line treatment for CML for patients resistant or intolerant to imatinib. Now it is indicated for first line treatment in CML in chronic phase. Its not a trial but treatment for cml. And yes you are right, we only have 24 month data to date as first line treatment.
