I smoke cigarettes and i have a broken eye vessel. it is healing slowly. should i use a cold/warm compressant to help speed the healing?

Broken eye vessel: Most commonly a broken blood vessel is caused by a subconjuntival hemmorrhage that causes the white part of the eye to be blood shot--but does not impair vision. Typically lasts 7-12 days.

You can: It is not necessary to treat a subconjunctival hemorrhage. You can use a warm compress on it, if desired.
