A member asked:

I have only heard of appetite suppressants and a fat blocker being approved by the fda. is there ever going to be a carb blocker that is?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hopefully not.: The general societal view that carbohydrates are the enemy has been verily debunked at this point, so the right carbohydrates in the diet are fine. Furthermore, your brain can only use carbohydrates as an energy source, so your brain needs them.
