There are a: number of things that can calcify in the head, so the significance of the calcification depends on what is calcified. It may be incidental and of no concern, but check the report for the details.

CT of head without contrast showed minimal atherosclerotic calcifications of the carotid siphons. Is this a predictor of a disease or should I be concerned and have another test performed? The CT was done due to prolonged headaches of 4 days?
