Bothersome Emotions: Its normal to have more intense emotions while you are on your period. If the emotions are severe and causing problems such as getting angry, depressed, suicidal, etc, you can see a doctor and get on a mood-stabilizing medication during this time of the month or all month long. Best wishes!

Relaxation technique: There are several ways to cope with emotions during stressful times including hormonal end of cycle issues. Minimize unhealthy food cravings, sleep 7 to 8 hours nightly, prayer, deep breathing exercises including yoga and/or tai chi, and get some exercise daily.
