Yes, Sometimes: Elevated eosinophils can be the end result of chronic histamine release because when histamine is released other immune system messengers are also released that cause eosinophils to migrate into the tissue. That said, antihistamines will not lower eosinophil counts. If your eosinophils are consistently high, you may need steroids or further evaluation and testing to determine the cause.
