Dr. Del Meyer answered

Clinical vs lab find: Sinusitis and bronchitis are clinical diagnosis that can be answered by your physician from the medical history. If you cough and raise discolored phlegm, you have bronchitis. If you have discolored drainage from you nose and sinuses, you have sinusitis. Eosinophilia is a laboratory finding on doing a blood count which is elevated in allergic diseases, such as allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma.
