Unknown: The safety and efficacy have not been established so no one can reliably answer your question. The reported doses that are used are: heart protection after heart attack: 60 mg twice a day, cardiomyopathy: 100-600 mg a day; Parkinson's Disease: 300-1200 mg a day. It's your choice, your risk.
