Tissue damage: Blasting warts with chemicals, lasers or freeze-therapy can damage the surrounding skin. It's best to protect the area until it heals. I would try a very large bandaid or some sort of gauze/tape dressing if it's sore and looking like it needs to heal (blister or ulcer ?). Try to keep the area clean as well.
