Urban legend: Any treatment for warts may work on occasion, but first try an otc med like sal acid or a freezing spray. If ineffective, see a physician.

Might not work.: You can try over the counter wart removers or duct tape, but be careful: i've seen them do more harm than good. Other options your doctor might offer include cryotherapy (freezing the wart), electrocautery (burning the wart), laser treatment, or several different topical chemical treatments.
