Time for check up: It is possible but there are also other possible reasons for memory loss. It is a good idea to get a complete physical and psychological evaluation

Poor memory: Cortisol is the stress hormone. Surges of cortisol can decrease your memory and recall. You don't say how old you are or if you have any head trauma in your history. I recommend you see a functional medicine doctor or an integrative medicine doctor and work with them to find and treat the root causes of your memory issues.

Could be: Memory issues commonly are associated with anxiety, stress, and depression, but can also be secondary to sleep disorder, low levels of B and D vitamins, thyroid issues, medication reactions, recreational drugs and/or alcohol.
