No: What you probably had was different lesions at different stages of dysplasia. CIN lesions usually progress slowly but it's possible for one cervix to have lesions at different stages of progression towards cancer. I am glad your lesions were excised. Good luck.

Not the same lesion: The 3 different grades of CIN do not imply progression; most likely they represent different stages of the process of dysplasia that existed before your Pap screen . That screen was valuable in that it caught something abnormal which in turn lead to a biopsy that showed the higher grade part and finally the cone showed the 3rd part. The higher grades were not represented in the initial sampling.
