It's ok: CIN 1 is a low grade abnormality that in most cases can be watched. It is usually due to HPV infection- a sexually transmitted virus over 85% of sexually active women have. Your management will depend on what your pap test showed, so be sure to contact your doctor. CIN 1 lesions rarely progress to cancer, but you need to follow up.
