Sinus CT: Sinus CTs take a couple of minutes to do. Most are done without contrast so you do not need an IV unless your doctor is looking for an enhancing mass, which I doubt in your case. You just need to hold still and do not move through the scanner ( which is shaped like a doughnut). Good luck and feel better!
