Treatments: The pneumonia would most likely require an antibiotic if bacterial and the fractured ribs would benefit from anti-inflammatory pain medications and rest and time. The cause of the Rib fractures would need to be explored as well if not known? Also you need to STOP smoking, take this healing time as your best opportunity to STOP!
