Renal Insufficiency: He is not fasting if he is eating eight hours in the 24 hour period. He will always have food in his system. Second, as his physician, I am sure, is telling him he has renal insufficiency and the cause of the problem MUST first be identified. It is not normal to have a creatinine of 1.4. This must be investigated.
